Have you seen the TikTok frenzy of the Tomato & Feta Cheese Pasta dish? Oh my, gosh it is so awesome and quick to make.
Recently while scrolling on Pinterest, as so many of us do, lol, I came across this video of a new pasta dish that I just knew I needed to try. And try I did…needless to say, this dish has become one of my family’s favorite dishes.
In today’s society, as busy as we all seem to be, who doesn’t love a quick recipe and I am always on the hunt for ideas to share with you.
So let’s dig in to this famous recipe!!!
Tomato & Feta Cheese Pasta Ingredients:
- 2 pints of cherry tomatoes
- 1/4-1/2 c Olive Oil
- 8 oz block Feta Cheese
- Italian seasoning
- Salt & Pepper
- Penne Pasta ( pasta of choice)
- Bunch of Spinach
Step One:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. While waiting for the oven to get hot, let’s prepare our tomatoes. In a baking dish of your choice, place the cherry tomatoes plus the 1/4-1/2 c of olive oil. Now add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, stir all together.
Next make a little whole in the middle of the tomatoes and place the block of feta cheese. If you cannot find block feta you can use crumbled feta too.
Place dish in the oven and bake for 35 minutes.
Step Two:
While the tomatoes and feta cheese are cooking, boil a pot of water for the pasta, per pasta instructions. Follow the directions on the box of pasta for cook time.
Roughly chop up your spinach and right before you get ready to take up the pasta, place your spinach in the pot with the pasta. Cook for a few minutes.
Once pasta is done, carefully drain in colander.
Step Three:
Now that the pasta is done, your tomatoes should be ready. Very carefully remove the baking dish from the oven and with a spatula/spoon start blending the cheese and tomatoes together. You will end up with a very creamy, tomato sauce.

Now, pour the drained pasta and spinach into the baking dish and stir everything together.
Add any seasoning that you like…salt, pepper, more Italian seasoning, etc.
Serve it up and enjoy while warm!!!
Added Extras:
Do not hold back when making this dish, it is truly a dish that you can alter in many ways.
You can try different kinds of pasta.
Add some red pepper flakes for a little heat.
Roast an onion with the tomatoes and cheese.
Serve with a side salad and toasted garlic bread!
The possibilities are endless once you have the basics down and I can almost bet you that you will be making this dish multiple times in the future.
