Welcome back!! It’s another week and time to share another craft with you guys. You will also find at the bottom a video of this craft. I truly hope that you enjoy making it as much as I did.
I am going to keep this one quick and simple but fun!! The supply list is pretty low key. Most of them can be bought at any craft store and are fairly inexpensive. I think all in all I spent about $6 to make this wreath.
Supplies:
- Embroidery hoop
- Flowers of choice, mainly greenery
- Floral wire
- Hot glue gun
- Wire cutters
Step one, be sure to turn the embroidery hoop with the knob to the side so that it is not visible. An option that I did not do, you can stain or paint the embroidery hoop. Either of which I think would look really good. I decided to leave it as is because our home is more rustic in nature.
Step two, cut, with wire cutters, the stem of the greenery that you chose to use. Using the floral wire, attach the green leaves to the wreath, facing. opposite directions on the wreath.
Step three, add the flowers that you decided to use. Again, using the wire cutters, cut the stem on the flowers. I cut my stems a little too short, so I had to use some glue to attach mine. If you leave a little of the stem, you can attach them with the floral wire.
Your wreath is complete unless you want to add a very simple bow or ribbon.
This really was one of the easiest crafts I have ever made and I thoroughly enjoyed doing it. But then my mom instilled in me a love to make wreaths. I adore this simple concept of using an embroidery hoop and the possibilities are endless. That is something that I love about crafts, there is no right or wrong way because we all have different taste. So you can add your own personal touch to it!
As always, have fun and make it yours! We all have a little creative side to us and I encourage you to find it!!
Blessings always!!! Amanda

Fabulous! This is so cute and looks great outdoors. Of course, not when it’s raining. I made sun catchers and hung the them on wood dowels. I forgot to bring them in when it rained for a couple of days. Yup! The wood developed green and brown spots.

Thanks!! I currently have it under a porch so as not to get wet, because you are absolutely right. If it gets wet the wood will turn or you could stain it. I would love to see your suncatchers.
