Who doesn’t love a quick and easy craft? I know that I do and I enjoy being able to share these craft ideas with you. It is one of the many reasons we started Beauty Among Us last year.
This is a super fun and easy one. You can do this craft with your kids at home or if you have a small class, this would be a good one for them too. All of the supplies came from the Dollar Tree store, so the cost of this craft is relatively cheap. I spent no more than $3. And just as a side note, the Dollar Tree has come a long way in what they sell, especially for a crafter.
Supplies List
Below is a picture of all the supplies bought for this craft.
–Canvas
–Floral Moss
–White cardboard, like for school projects or any piece of cardboard you have at home
–Elmers glue
–You can use any bunny template that you may already have on hand. I used a template that I found on Pinterest, I will try to post it here for you to use.
–Cottonball
Instructions
To start with, trace the bunny template to the piece of cardboard, so it will be a little sturdy when you start to glue moss to it. Cut out the template once traced. Be sure to have some old paper or newspaper under you as you work because the moss is a little messy.
Now you are ready to start gluing the moss on. Start in small sections, like at the ear part first. Fill in with glue and add moss to it. Work your way down till the whole bunny is covered in moss. The one that I did, like the first picture, I added an egg to it, but I believe that I like it without the egg. That is totally up to you. You will want to let it dry a little before moving to the next step.
It is time to glue the bunny to the canvas. Fill up the backside of the bunny with glue and center it onto the canvas. Press down to make sure that all have adhered together. Once all is together, you can now add any embellishments that you would like. You can use a cotton ball for the tail and add a ribbon to the ear. The possibilities are up to you. That is one of the fun things about crafts, is you can tailor them to your preference.
Once everything is dry, you have a really cute Spring/Easter decor piece that was very inexpensive and that you made. If you make this with your kids, they could each add their own little touch and put it up in their bedroom.
I hope that you have fun with this craft and I cannot wait to bring you another one next week!! P.S. there is a step by step video on our Facebook page, so be sure to swing by to watch!
Blessings always guys!! Amanda

What a cute idea! I have been wanting to try this but with fuzzy yarn or fabric instead of moss. Thank you for the inspiration!
